Twitch Switches to Net-15 Payment Plan

twitch switches to net 15

One of the struggles with being a full time, part time, or any time broadcaster is the point of payment. Previously, the standard for payment was 45 days after the last day of the month. So, if you wanted to get paid for what you’ve earned in January, you would have to wait until mid-March before you see those payments. Can you imagine working any other job and not receiving your paycheck until a month and a half later after working? It would be hard.

Twitch wants to change this norm by introducing the Net-15 payout. With Net-15 payout, Partners, Affiliates, and Extension developers will only have to wait 15 days after the end of the month to pay. Same rules still apply, as a minimum of 100 dollars must be met to be paid out. Also, if verification takes longer than expected, these payments will still follow the Net-45 rule that has been in place.

This is excellent news! Getting you what you’ve earned faster is a dream come true! Best of all, nothing has to be done to sign up for this! It’s already set up and ready to go so expect your February AND March payments hitting that account very soon.
