WWF Wild LiveStream 2017 Charity Event

WWF Livestream Charity Event

From September 1st to 16th, WWF-Australia will be running their first ever fundraising event utilizing Twitch. The organization will be hosting streamers during the event directly from their Twitch channel. In addition to helping a great cause, the highest raising broadcasters will win themselves an exclusive WWF Prize Pack!

Getting Involved

WWF-Australia is raising funds to support their efforts of saving tigers from poaching, koalas from tree clearing, and orangutans from a wide variety of threats. This is the WWF’s first attempt at fundraising through Twitch, so if it goes well, they hope to create a much larger and exciting event in the future. It’s also worth noting that communities of any size are welcome to participate. Although the event officially runs from September 1st to 16th, the organization appreciates streams whenever possible.

World Wildlife Fund LivestreamWWF-Australia has decided to utilize Tiltify as their fundraising platform. Tiltify, which we briefly covered in our TwitchCon 2016 Panel Recap, is a popular crowdfunding platform designed for gamers to raise money through their streams for various causes and charities.

Interested in registering as a streamer for the event? You can get all the details and sign up directly on their Wild LiveStream page.

Exclusive Prize Pack

To reward the efforts of the top fundraisers, WWF will be giving out some exclusive prize packs. This includes things such as a onesie of the streamers choice, a “Panda Made Me Do It” t-shirt, a bag, WWF pencil case, pens, stickers, badges, a certificate, and a shoutout on WWF’s social media channels. They’ve even hinted at throwing in a few other goodies as well.
